Since 1985 we have been working towards offering our customers a complete interior solution. Now, with the collection of MG Ceilings and Linings, MG Barkers and MG Linear, we can offer this service to all our clients.

MG began life almost 25 years ago with the founding of MG Ceilings & Linings. We grew rapidly when we took over Barkers in 2007, and partnered with Linear in 2008. Throughout this transition we have remained true to our core beliefs.

The three areas of the MG group are explaned below.

MG Ceilings and Linings was established in 1985. Our speciality is internal walls and ceilings for the interiors market. We have 25 years experience of commercial, retail, leisure, healthcare and education markets. Working closely with several major contractors, we've become one of the leading subcontractors in the North West.

MG Barkers was formed with the merger of MG group and Barkers Total Office Solutions in 2007. Barkers formed in 1969, and expanded to office furniture supply and fit-out over the next four decades. Now part of MG, it offers a fully-fledged design and build service, able to contract on furniture procurement/installation and moves management.

MG Linear was formed in 2009 with the addition of Linear Electrical to the MG group. Founded in 1998, Linear provides mechanical and electrical engineering services nationwide, in both the commercial and industrial sectors, with particular expertise in bespoke build projects such as restaurants, bars, offices and HQ buildings.
