Background/ExperienceFollowing 5 years in military construction, working on projects throughout the world, Steve moved to working with MG as a subcontractor installing ceilings & partitions for MG Ceilings and Linings. He worked as Foreman though to Site Manager on SWSH project and BAE Preston before moving into a Project Manager roll in November 2008.
Steve is qualified in H&S to NEBOSH standard and is working towards a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
Current Role/ResponsibilitiesWorking with clients to understanding their requirements for works required, before liaising with the design department to develop their briefs within the confines of the budget. Providing quotations, samples and programming for projects as well as management of procuring materials, labour and project management throughout construction phase. Steve is then responsible for ensuring hand over to the client is completed and that works are to the clients’ satisfaction, preparing O&M manuals and initiate invoicing procedure.
He is also the Health and Safety representative for MG, advising and managing H&S issues.
